The Music

The Sounds of Hope Project is committed to recording and distributing music that is pleasant to listen to and that can convey a sense of peace and hope. The variety of music ranges from lighter classical works to contemporary Christian pieces to folk and regional music. All of the performers for the recordings donate their time and talents for the cause.

In 2004, the SOHP has recorded with six performers.

In 2005 the CD, Growing in Hope added roughly 45 new performers to the ranks. These 45 voices were the voices of Greater Cleveland area children.

All SOHP albums are recorded using the latest recording technology with the expertise and assistance of Hartzell Media Group of Berea, Ohio. Bill Hartzell supervises recording for SOHP. In addition to his time with SOHP, Bill is an instructor of Recording Arts and Technology at Tri-C and the supervisor of the recording studio at Baldwin-Wallace College.
